That schedule looks very promising we may just finish at or above .500

Probably 5 wins, just because we will win 2 games we weren't suppose to.

That's what I would guess as of right now. Hard to say when we haven't even finished the draft and pre-season hasn't happened.

Agreed. But we'll probably also lose one we're not supposed to. I really hope we don't use a pick on a qb this year. There are at least two quarterbacks coming out next year that would easily be the top to quarterbacks this year. USC and UCLA

Grant needs to be pulled right now. Bring in Zipser and go with a Jimmy and Wade backcourt. Hell, give Canaan a shot. Grant can't handle this atmosphere.

That's a pretty good strategy. Maybe they should run the 46 zone

you guys are pretty optimistic. Just don't blame Pace if the team doesn't meet your expectations

12 or more losses. Have to add the injury factor and Sanchez getting in a couple games.

I see 7 wins at best, probably 5 wins though. HOWEVER, this is exactly the plan.

We had a 3-13 team last season, and we did not greatly improve any position. Sure, we added depth, but everybody is on a "prove it" contract.

So, instead of drafting impact players for this season, we drafted a QB that needs to sit, a TE from D2 that needs to adjust, an oft-injured playmaking Safety, and then a few more pieces to build depth.

Essentially, we have the same talent, minus Alshon.

Now, why did Pace do this? Why take a QB this year when the QB class next year is historic?

Let's say the Bears only win 5 games like I'm guessing. That's a top 10 pick at least. We gave up two 3rds and a 4th, and then picked up a 4th. So, the trade was essentially two 3rds to move up one spot.

Well, next year's draft people are going to bet the farm on a QB. They can trade back, get prime defensive talent while everybody else is going for a QB, and stack picks.

I think this is the whole plan. Get the 6th overall, trade back to mid 1st or late first and grab 4 picks. In the meantime, the Bears have stocked a 1st from the year before and have a TE that may have finally figured out the pro game.
