Wow.

I believe he led all of MLB in all four of those stats during that time period.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I caught it at the bar with no audio from the TV and only saw the screen for about 2 seconds.

Braun is ranked 1 on Yahoo! fantasy last month, so there's a pretty good chance that you heard right.

And he's ranked #2 in errors in that time period. Nothing really to care about though for all you Braun lovers, because as we all know his defense will improve....it has to...I mean Braun is the next Chuck Norris.

I'm not worried about his D not improving after watching so many young players come up as butchers only to end up being average to very good after a year or two.

LOL i love how you change the fact that you said before his offense is going to slow down dramatically. But now his defense sucks because he has made a few errors in the last couple of games.

Actually he has made 6 errors in the last 30 games and I believe 9 this year while Pence has made 2.

As far as me saying his offense is going to slow down dramatically, there is nothing I hate more than someone putting words in my mouth.

My posts on this thread go like this....
1) Tulowitzki is dirty
2) Pence
3) Jenna Jameson
4) Defense
5) Global warming
6) Defense again

Sorry I never said Braun's offense will slow down dramatically. But nothing will change the fact that you think I said that because you're still too busy rofl'ing and using acronym's like LOL that I used on AIM when I was in 8th grade.

can we stop measuring someone's defense by errors, as an error is a ridiculously subjective stat

Braun does have a terrible .895 fielding percentage. There is no doubt he is currently a butcher.

That being said, his offensive contributions blow his defensive shortcomings out of the water when it comes to affecting wins and losses.

Braun is a special young player, and will win the ROY. This isn't just a hot streak after a call up, he is going to be a perennial MVP candidate and I think he can become one of the best hitters in baseball down the road, maybe a Miguel Cabrera with 25 SB type player.

Especially since he hits a homerun after every error.

A few days ago, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal pointed out that since the date Braun was called up, he's been in the top 3 in each of the triple crown categories in the NL. Pence looks like a stud, but Braun is the bigger difference maker right now.

Pence is out 4-6 weeks, the race is over, Braun wins.

How dare you clap about the Legendary Hunter Pence being hurt :(

I think it should be settle in a UFC style matchup between the 2, it's the only fair way.

Why? Braun would kill Pence and eat his heart before they even step in the cage.
