Week 9: PG Bears v Bills

Post#1 » by transplant » Sun Nov 4, 2018 9:47 pm

Hmm, no game thread. Ok.

Thought it was lovely. Drama is so overrated. Amazing to think that this was the Bears D WITHOUT Khalil Mack.It wasn't perfect, but it'll do.

Only nit to pick is that Id've liked to see the O run a series of two in the 2nd half with Howard, a fullback and Trubisky taking the snap under center. It's hard to run the ball down an opponent's throat from the shotgun.
Until the actual truth is more important to you than what you believe, you will never recognize the truth.

I would agree with OP. We need more power running when we have leads. It has cost us twice already

This will be a limitation in the playoffs. It just will. I dont know if Nagy has a blind spot, or Trubisky can't run the offense like that. I tend to think the latter. Anecdote: Today I saw Trubisky finally drop back from center, plant, and overthrow an open receiver by 10 yards for no apparent reason. True story.

Bears should be healthy and we will see who they really are in the next 3 games. They win all 3 they could win the division.

Took care of business but now it gets interesting because they are playing for something .

The Rams stil play Eagles ,Chiefs ,and us

The Saint still play Eagles ,Panthers twice ,and the Steelers

We are in great position and should be thinking about making a push for the #1 overall seed a first rd bye and home field because we really dont wanna go to LA or NO.

Its time to move past past we are just happy to be here .

Did they give an explanation on that pass? The receiver wasn't even running that direction, so it seemed either the play was misread or the wr ran the wrong route.

Idk..Gabriel is banged up. White was a healthy scratch but doesnt give us anything when he does play. Defenses don't even have to account for him. Gabriel, Cohen and ARob can't keep taking the only snaps at WR. We need someone else to step up.

Miller is a stud. Burton. Shaheen will be back too.

Shasheen is another one on the health issue. Why is he always hurt? He was sold to us like he was some kind of tank and cant take hits without going down for weeks.

Gabriel should play next week. Don't discount Miller. Burton has been reliable as well. Robinson is the one who has been banged up and disappointing to an extent. Shaheen could be a nice target for Trubisky as well.

We don't have any #1s, but there is no shortage of weapons for Trubisky.

Also, Miller has been good at getting open, but Mitch has overthrown or underthrown him.

OMG...my biggest issue with Mitch. He'd better go visit Andy Reid over the summer or workout with Mahomes.
