If Delhomme is replaced I will be PISSSEDDD. I have him on my Fantasy football team =/.

Thoughts:

David Ball is a stud. I hope we keep him.
Our QBs are looking good, especially Kyle Orton.

Looks pretty good.
Do you think he will start ahead of McCardell?

You guys need a RB badly I think. Green will never hold up, if he can even do the job anymore.
Too many miles I think.

I think McCardell will be the number 3 receiver ahead of Jones and Jones will take over at the end of the season.

I think we are set at RB. We have Green, Dayne, Gado, Lundy, Walker.

What we need is a 2nd WR because Walter isnt gonna cut it.

That isn't any problem. Make a deal for Carr, he should be available.
And keep Delhomme and you'll be good to go.

Its really too bad about Haas, Ball and Rideau. They're all worth keeping.
Maybe one can be a Special Teams player and 6th receiver and another on the practice team.
No doubt one is going to have to go and he'll probably be the lucky one because he will no doubt make another team where he has a better chance to get on the field than he does with the Bears.
Hopefully for him, whichever one it is the Bears will let him go in time to catch on somewhere else.

Better yet would be if the Bears could trade one or two of them for a mid to late round draft choice each. 5 or 6 or something.

Very good game for Grossman judging by the linescore.
8/10 isn't bad for 2 series

I am in Cleaveland so I didn't get to see any of the game.
Judging by the stats we did pretty good on offense.
Judging by the comments here, we didn't do so well on special teams.

I recorded the game on my DVR so I am going to watch the game when I get ho ne this afternoon/night

I live in Milwaukee and am not able to watch the preseason games. I can only judge by the box score, unfortunately.
Questions...
1. How did Benson do carrying the ball?
2. How did Grossman look?
3. Is Greg Olson on track to be a stud TE?
4. How did they use Hester in the offense?

I could ask more, but I'll settle for these 4.
It is after all just the first preseason game.

Well you can't really tell that much because they don't play that long but...

1 Benson looked pretty good and broke a few tackles which I like
2 Grossman looked very good under pressure, and the O-line gave up 0 sacks with over 40 passing attempts total
3 Olsen had 2 of the first 3 catches I think and his first was between two defenders. Looks like he has soft hand. The next Ditka.
4 I didn't see much of Hester, was watching the Cubs game as well. I know he made one good catch though that I saw.

1 - Benson was very very good last night.. He took a huge shot by Dunta Robinson and just hopped up. In the next series he RAN OVER DeMeco Ryans. He made Ryans look bad. 4.6 yards per carry tonight.

2 - Grossman was crisp & very good with his reads.. Pretty good.

3 - Olsen was used in slot & all over and looked great in limited action.

4 - Hester was lining up at WR.. They did not use him as a RB yet.. He made one nice catch. I think he only had the ball thrown at him 2x.
