Mike Lombardi of the National Football Post speculates that the Bears will be "all over" free agent OT Flozell Adams.
The Bears seem very excited about Chris Williams as their left tackle of the present and future, but there is a hole at right tackle. Adams would presumably be a big upgrade over Frank Omiyale or Kevin Shaffer.

Orlando Pace 2.0. At least he wouldn't be be preventing a prior year first rounder from getting PT at his natural position this time.

I seriously doubt the Bears would even think about Flozell Adams . I do wonder if they are looking at Ken Hamlin at FS. Don't know much about him but at least statisically he didn't really fall off tackle wise last year missing 4 games. Perefect world we deal for OG Sims from Seattle and get a veteran FS in here before the draft. Then we take best available with all our picks.

Adams is a false-start machine. No thanks to old tackles that can't remember the snap count.

I'm all for Sims, though.

Sims traded to Detroit for a 5th round pick. My worries about the O-Line grow stronger. Maybe Tice is gonna coach up Lance Louis and his 4.7 in the 40 to a starting caliber LOG. Either that or we're going OL in the 3rd round.
