Reading between the lines part II
So what's all this? Well at the end of his press conference Angelo was asked what George McCaskey thought of him. His response was along the lines of - I have no idea, ask him when he comes upsatirs - Not exactly the politically correct words you would have for your organizations new leader for the future.
Tim Ruskell was rumored to be coming in some time ago to oversee pro-personnel and rumor has it that he's been helping out on the side. Why wasn't he hired back in February officially? Why is Angelo being so coy about changes to his staff. Every other team is making changes from January-Draft day so the teams are in place in the war room. We are shaking things up AFTER the draft? Makes no sense to me.
On with the drumroll.....
Emperor Jones Predict that Angelo will step down after the draft maybe take a consulting role and Tim Ruskell will take over as GM.
You heard it hear 1st gentlemen.

Change is in the air at Halas Hall -- and not just in ownership.
On the same day Michael McCaskey announced his planned retirement as the Bears' chairman of the board after the 2010 season, general manager Jerry Angelo confirmed he's ready to do some restructuring of his staff...
There is a scenario for change, though. Greg Gabriel, the respected director of college scouting, is thought to be on the hot seat after Angelo declined to give former personnel boss Bobby DePaul a contract extension earlier in the offseason.
''After this draft, I said that we are going to do some restructuring,'' Angelo said. ''I said that at the end of the season. I have some thoughts. I have some scenarios that I have in my mind. ... If and when we have something to announce, we'll announce it.''
Angelo gave almost the same response when he was asked if former Seattle Seahawks boss Tim Ruskell, an old friend from Angelo's days with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, finally was going to be hired. He again declined to speak in specifics, saying only that he has thought through several scenarios.
''I am always trying to be pro-active in my thinking,'' Angelo said. ''So when the dust settles with this draft, I want to give my undivided attention to that. And when that time comes -- and I'll have a window of time -- then I'll act on it.''
