I have 3 in mind Dick Butkus, Walter Peyton and Gale Sayers. Who would you say?

Another vote for Walter Payton.
A plea for post scoring is a plausible Bulls plan, but plainly isn't a priority. In response to a post player's dismay about his lack of points in the paint, Paxson said.... "I'm not nearly as concerned about the offensive stuff as he is."

Those are my three! To round out the top 5, it'd be Mike Singletary and its a tie between Mike Brown & Brian Urlacher

Payton, then Butkus. The rest are a distant 3rd, but only because Sayers' career got cut short.

I don't know a huge amount about American football, but I would have to say Payton. That guy was incredible.
