I know about as many Packers fans as I do Bears fans. My mom is a Bears fan, my dad and sister are Packer fans. I live in a city that is about as split down the middle as you can get.

Needless to say, it's a bit of a thing in my neck of the woods.

Is this game really at 2pm? That's an odd start time.

Same time as always! Just rotates from AFC to NFC playing the early game. I believe it's so if an NFC/AFC West team is in the title game the earliest it'll be is a noon game.

I'm going to puke if the Packers win the Halas trophy at Soldier Field.

I'm a firm believer that we dumb downed our gameplan for that last Packers game. We never call that fluke timeout on that huge 3rd and 18 conversion and we might have won that game. Rodgers TORE up everybody else besides our defense since coming back from his concussion. This should be a great game.

Can't argue with that. They destroyed the Falcons in one of the toughest places to play in the NFL. I want to go into this game as underdogs. I hate being the favorites.

This team was never as dominant as the 06-07 team was, but ultimately what does that matter? They lost in the Super Bowl and this team seems to be playing it's best ball now. Ideally they'd dominate all year long and never leave a doubt in anybody's mind but this year, my enthusiasm has been tempered because I never got that "special" vibe from this team. Outside of the second Packers game, today's playoff game and the Eagles game I never walked away from a game like I would in 06-07 but we're still just two wins away from being Super Bowl champs and that's pretty awesome.

I think the expectations this year make it seem like a worse team than the 2006 team but I think this team is better. Defense is just as good, Hester is still Hester, and we actually have a solid offense. Our defense bailing us out with turnovers in 2006 is probably the only difference.

I think that the team in 2006 just came out like gangbusters and sputtered out until the postseason. They also lost Harris and Mike Brown in the middle of the season, this team has been crazy healthy and I think Hester has been as good as ever. I was thinking "this team is going to win the Super Bowl" all year long in 2006 while this team I felt "this team could win the Super Bowl" and it's exciting.

I think Cutler is far less scary than Rex was in that season but he's still got you uneasy. We need to stop the run, make 2 game changing plays on either defense or special teams (a Hester/Mike Brown moment) and play smart offense.

^the Brown and Harris injuries took a hit on our defense as a whole. we weren't the same dominant defense after that. our relatively injury-free roster has helped us go this far.

we're playing good football and only one game away from the super bowl. it's fun to watch.

Wasn't this admitted by the Bears? I am sure I read or heard it somewhere that Martz used the same offense he did when we faced them last so that he wouldn't give away anything new.
