Think it's too late to become a Packer fan?

I mean, by the time I get my Rodgers jersey, get rid of all my Bears gear and memorabilia, and am disowned by family and friends, do you think they'll still be any good?
I'm tempted. Because knowing my luck, the day I become a Packers fan the McCaskeys will sell the team to someone who knows enough to hire someone who knows what they're doing.

Why don't you just bandwagon whatever team won the Superbowl the year before?
You can do the same thing in basketball, rooting for the Celtics in 09, the Lakers in '10, and the Lakers this year.
Or you could be a real fan.

I will be a Chicago Bears fan from the cradle to the grave. If it's that easy for a person to disown them because they lost in the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, then that person was never a fan in the first place.

Wow, you know what the funny thing is? I just stumbled across this post again and TOTALLY forgot posting it.
Trust me, it was all in fun (and I was probably drunk at the time - take note of that kids - don't drink and post!). I have no intention of becoming a Cheesehead and am looking forward to the new season.

It was 6:00pm on a Tuesday. Hopefully you're in college, otherwise you have bigger issues to deal with than your football allegiance.

As much as I love hate the Bears, even on the hate days, becoming a Packers fan would never enter my mind. I'd rather be anally raped to the point of death for weeks in a Slovenian gulag.
