The Bears released Manumaleuna, announcing that he failed his physical. Manumaleuna was due a $1 million roster bonus and a $100,000 workout bonus. He would have had to be on the Bears roster at 4 p.m. on Friday to earn the roster bonus.

Just your basic "do over" for Martz. Manumaleuna is a big blocking TE who didn't perform as advertised last season. Spaeth is a different body type, but serves the same purpose. Almost has to be an improvement, 'cause Manumaleuna sucked.
Until the actual truth is more important to you than what you believe, you will never recognize the truth.

I also think we were fairly predictable depending on if manu or olsen was in, you couldn't find two different TE's. Spaeth seems more of a combo of the two.
