I'm intrigued by this signing. I wonder if a change of scenery would be a good thing for Tommie.

Hopefully he can it get together and get back to his old self. He used to be one of my favorites.

It's one thing if a guy just doesn't fit or doesn't have his head right. You could argue that Tommie doesn't full have his head right but that's not the case. His issue is the injuries. He's just lost all the explosion that made him dominant. It's a shame too cause he was the best DT in the league for a short time.

I do agree, but I also think that his injuries could of been prevented if was more focused on his off-season training.

It seemed as if after his pro-bowl years, every off-season was a different story for Harris.. and each year it kept building up in his mind to the point that I think he lost all motivation for the game.

I'll be rooting for him in Indy, but I'm glad that the Bears don't have to deal with him and his injuries.

Cliff's got it right. It's all about the injuries. At this point in his career, unless he can time the snap just right and shoot the gap, he's easily swallowed up by bigger DTs. His release was prob 2 years too late.

There are some former Bears I know I'll be watching to see if we made a mistake in letting them go....Harris won't be one of them as I'm confident he's finished.

Yep they kept him around well past his expiration date. He was still a great pick and for a short time as mentioned was a top DT.

Good luck to him.
