No Barber, probably without Chris Harris and Lance Louis, possibly without Roy Williams, maybe without Brian Urlacher.

It's okay to not feel terribly good about this one.

Johnny Knox and Devin Hester are terrible. It's a joke that this is Cutler's 3rd year here and he still has no good WR's at all. Matt Forte is the only guy worth throwing to.

The offensive line coupled with Mike Tice, Lovie Smith, Jerry Angelo, and Ted Phillips are an embarassment to this beloved NFL CHARTER FRANCHISE!!!! You can have the best receivers in the league, but what good is it if you can't buy the QB more than 2 seconds to deliver the ball...SMH! Granted we weren't expecting the OL to be significantly better, but c'mon its Cutler's 3rd season here, buy him some damn guys whose job is to just block and pick up blitzes/defensive shifts.

The game just completely broke down in that 2nd half/4th quarter, but before it got embarrassing (damn that offensive line just gave up at the end, didn't it?), the game was there for the taking.

Culter over threw a couple of guys, and a couple of plays where a WR dropped the ball, and this game stays closer than it was, and we don't have to pass the ball every down, and the Saints don't start every play (defensively) with 7 or 8 in the box.

So, given that, I think the game was lost because of our defense not getting a big play on defense causing a turnover (until the game was already out of hand). If we get that big play from our defense in the first half or early in the second half, the entire direction of the game changes. It's not really the defense's fault per se, as I don't think it's fair to expect them to cause a big turnover EVERY game, but whenever we play well as a team, there is usually a big play made by the defense. No big play this week, and thus we got stomped.

Too bad the Chicago media (and probably the fans) won't find it as simple as that. Things got really embarrassing at the end, but the game was already lost at that point.

I'm starting to get the feeling that the offensive line just doesn't like Jay Cutler. Unfortunately, I don't think opposing defenses do either.

Here's an idea: MIKE MARTZ CALL A DAMN RUN PLAY!

I mean seriously! We have one of the biggest offensive lines in the league and this guy is calling 14,000 pass plays in a row.

We've won our last 10 games in a row when we run 25+ times. When is Lovie Smith gonna get some NUTS and tell this guy to RUN the f***ing football or he's going to lose play calling duties.

This team is BUILT to run the ball. How about 2 TE formation's MIKE?

Why do we have 8 slot receivers? Why doesn't Angelo go out and get a WR that can run a route AND catch the ball?

Why doesn't Earl Bennett start anyway?

Bears need to trade for 5 first round picks and select 3 offensive lineman and 2 wide receivers. That is the only solution to this mess.

You're asking Mike Martz to completely change his philosophy, which he doesn't do lightly.

I'm agreeing with you, I'm just pointing out why we didn't see it.

Its one loss. And one loss that no one had down as a victory - not even me.
The ONLY bad thing about this loss to me is Carimi going down. FO at RT is a disaster.
