LT Jared Gaither cut by Chiefs - should we cut Frank OMG!

2 years ago he was a total stud. Injuries and a hold out set him back. 6'-9" 340.
We need veteran depth and he could push for a starting job if Tice gets a hold of him. At his worst he's a better swing tackle backup than Frank OMG!ANOTHERSACK!
Maybe the Chiefs cut him because they stole Orton and just want to help us out?

Why not? I saw that play that got him cut. Hard to miss the 6'9" guy moving before the snap.
Sign and stash him and see what Tice can do.

Cheap deal for this year and next, sure. He wasn't ready to play this year but might next year.

Haha - I was just going to post on this as I've been focusing on his play. Super-athletic for his size that's for sure. I suppose you have to consider the competition but we have GOT to keep our eyes on this guy in the offseason as he'll be a FA.

I really wanted the Bears to trade for him two years ago when he was a camp holdout for the Ravens, but they were trying to get a 1st rounder for him and we had none to give. I'd like to get him next year but my guess is that Tice give Webb a solid grade by seasons end at LT and we have Carimi coming back at RT. but I'd grab him. Young, huge and I don't want him on guarding Peppers next year.

Frank will be cut but likely won't be until the offseason.
