2. Our rookie DE
3. Our rookie WR
4. Cutler to Marshall
5. Our new backup RB

What's your keys to watch?

4. Conte and Wright
5. McClellin
6. Offense in general. are they on the same page or do they still have to develop chemistry under the new system.

Can't wait to see this team on the field, regardless of whether or not the game is meaningful or how long the starters will play. Plus I want to see if Manning is still the same old Peyton.

2. I'm looking forward to seeing Peyton Manning, like Heir said.

3. I'm looking to see who steps up opposite of Peppers at the DE position.

4. I'm not expecting the offense to run smoothly......yet.

they drafted him as a DE and i think they will use him alot in this game as a DE.

i expect to see him play alot.

I know he was drafted as a DE but with Urlacher's health issues and lack of depth at LB to go with the depth at DE we have I could see the Bears using him a LB maybe as a Clay Mathews type

I really do believe Emery grabbed Shea to be Urlacher's replacement in 1-2 years, or at least move to OLB. I think this DE move is stop gap.

the preseason will be more watchable on offense for us, as we have a starting qb rb and wr as second string. Offense around our rookie wr, rookie te, cambel and bush is going to be fun to watch against teams second string.

in this defense, OLB isnt a pass rusher or anything close to that.

our OLBs have to stay disciplined and take care of their gaps in order for the defense to function properly.

shea is a fast, quick, high motor defensive player. in this defense, he will be best utilized as a DE. he will have troubling playing the run, but i believe he will be very successful pass rusher.

I'm not sure how much longer we'll be in this defense or have Lovie at all. I'm thinking if Lovie doesn't win the NFC north and maybe even the conference, Emery makes a move to a new coach and a new defense.

That said, I think Lovie's job will be safe

Canellis making it out like field conditions are so crappy that we shouldn't hold our breath to see any quality Bears on the field - Peppers, Cutler, Forte, etc all highly questionable to see any time.
