Perfect 2nd half. Slow start, but really can't complain about anything overall.

Good showing for the ranking/stat junkies. Just 188 yards allowed, 500+ for the offense.

Bears with 214 yards rushing & 41 points (not 6 pts, Emp :D ).

I'm looking for confirmation on Alshon Jefferey's broken hand, but I can't find it. Hopefully, it's not that bad  . We do have Bennet returning after the bye, though.

I know that we had to break some type of NFL record with BOTH Briggs & Tillman returning INTs for Touchdowns in two straight games.

Bears have the biggest point differential in the NFL.

Aaahhhh... :droop: stats!

I'd really like to see them start strong one of these games though. Also it looked like the Kellen Davis thing was going to continue at first but that fizzled out quickly.

I just don't see how Jeffery could have broken his hand. I think its more likely he sprained it, or he dislocated a finger.

I'm watching Lovie's post game interview. He's only calling it a "hand injury", but said they will evaluate it more.

What a game.

Let's just hope nothing is seriously wrong with Alshon.

4-1 going into the bye week and the Packers have lost 2 games they should have won. Awesome.

I didn't post about the game last week because I was obsessing over 2K13, which was a perfect post game after a perfect Bears win. This week should be more of the same, because...really, what can you say about this team? Just amazing.

If I really wanted to nitpick, I'd wish the D would give up less yards, but they're doing their job of keeping them out of the endzone pretty well. Going to have to do better against better teams, and that's where the offense will have to step up. They will need to come out early. Right now they're leaning on the defense. They need to give the defense a chance to lean on the offense.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Alshon Jeffery will undergo an X-ray on his swollen right hand Monday and the Bears are hopeful the rookie wide receiver is not seriously injured.

Jeffery left Sunday's game after the first play of the fourth quarter when he got inside position on Jaguars cornerback Rashean Mathis to score on a 10-yard slant. Mathis had tight coverage, but quarterback Jay Cutler made an accurate throw and Jeffery was taken to the turf upon making the catch.

Jeffery wore a wrap on his hand when he entered the locker room and tried to downplay the significance of the injury.

"I could have kept playing," he said. "I'm confident it's not serious."

Jeffery's hand appeared rather swollen. He entered the weekend as the leading rookie wide receiver in the NFL with 12 catches for 164 yards and scored his second touchdown of the season while making one other reception for 10 yards in the game.

There's only been 7 games in which a team has let up less than 200 yards. The Bears have two of those games.

I really can't wait for the return game to do what they always do. The defense can dominate. The running game can dominate. The passing game can dominate. Our special teams are perfect but they're going to find a way to dominate a game or two here.

IMHO the 2006 defense was better than our current defense, especially when Mike Brown was healthy. Better front 4(Ogunleye, Harris, Tank, and Brown) and a prime Urlacher.
