It feels like we're coming off of a loss to me. So I can only think that the Bears will come out hard against the Titans and grab one. I'm sure Lovie will have them ready to play.

This feels like a trap game, but didn't we just have one of those?

Hopefully we call more run plays and our O-Line pass protects better.

Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Mike Tice believes inquiries about Matt Forte's usage in the offense are "fair questions," but he says the reason for the Pro Bowl tailback's' lack of touches stems from the offense's inability to stay on the field.

"When you're three-and-out, three-and-out, nobody is going to get a lot of touches," Tice said. "Fortunately, Brandon (Marshall) got some catches in the two-minute drill or his numbers would have been down. No, I wasn't (happy with Forte's workload), but we can't have the ball 23 minutes. We had been up in the 36 minute range.

"When you're in the 36-minute range you've got plays, then you can say 'Hey, you didn't give him enough plays.' When you have the ball for 23 minutes, I don't think anybody is going to come out saying they got enough touches. And I think that's a fair question."

Hey Tice. Maybe the reason that we're "three-and-out, three-and-out" is because of passes on 1st, 2nd, & 3rd down :dontknow: .

^^^^ at first Forte was burning them for 10+ yards on every play. Then after the TD I think Bush came in the next possession, Tice called three runs in a row and Bush got stuffed on all three. Next offensive possession Forte was back in and I think the first two plays were runs, both stuffed.

The birth of the 3 and outs were stuffed runs, not passing too much. Then we started throwing the ball and it looked like Carimi was still run blocking, just looked dumb out there, and the turnovers came.

I think Hester is more of a slot guy than an outside receiver,
As far as down field passing.
But if the Bears are doing wide receiver screens, that is where i find the value of having devin on the outside.

Wrong.

Jay holds the ball too long sometimes, but for the most part our oline does a bad job of pass protection. Of the 6 sacks against the Panthers, there were only 2 that were his fault. And lets not forget the dmub penalties.

Matty has been very efficient this year so I wouldn't be surprised if the defense didn't get any turnovers. As far as Johnson he's been rolling as of late and if the bears want to stop they have to frustrate him by hitting him behind the line. I think Jay might have his best game this season so far. Forte is going to do his thing. For some reason I'm more concerned about the defense but its not that high of a level

Hester won't be productive for us this season, imo. His explosiveness is just gone, and he doesn't seem to get the same kind of energy on the field as he used to. I don't think moving him to the slot is going to do any good, I'd rather see Weems and Sanzenbacher get more looks in the slot.

This should be a good test for our defense. We havn't allowed a 100 yd rusher for awhile, here's another good test. Bear down!

I hear you, Jake. Something is definitely wrong with Hester this season.

He's nowhere near being the player that I'm accustomed to seeing. His speed seems to have just vanished right into thin air.

Being that this is his final contract year, after the Bears gave him the 4-year 40 million dollar deal and he hasn't produced the last 2 years. If he is re-signed, it won't be anywhere near the money he got last time.

Oh, and does anybody know how long Jeffery is out?

I hope that he's not playing childish games by not giving 100% during returns. I do remember that he was complaining early in the season because he felt that Cutler was not throwing his way enough during games. He knows that the big money comes at the WR position & maybe he's slacking on punts/kickoffs because he wants a bigger role on offense instead.

This is just my conspiracy theory. I hope that I'm wrong.

Last I heard they said he may be back by the Texans game. Hopefully that's correct.

Hester should only be part of special teams period, this experiment has never worked. But yes, it does look like he has lost a step.

His only really big games have come against some awful defensive teams.
