Solid game by defense
Great comeback by Cutler
Several key injuries to worry about - Forte, Louis, Spencer, Hester (not so key)

I'd like to say that nobody on this board should expect Cutler to chase somebody down to make a tackle, unless it's at the end of a game in the playoffs that can change the outcome of a game. Why would anybody want Cutler to put himself in that position again????????

Yeah. We're down to 3 WRs and our O-Line is dropping like flies.

eh, it can't get much worse than its been (30th ranked) at full strength or close to. Rotating scrubs on the O-line is a wash, and Hester is no loss really. Alshon and Forte though, thats impactful injury.

anyhoo, J-Webb Nation played his typical game at the high end, which is mediocre at best. The new guy on the opposite side Jonathan Scott seemed to have a calming effect or something in pass protection. He was solid for the most part and predictable in his depth (as opposed to being pancaked or blown up regularly like Carimi). And the Bears had Jay moving toward daylight more easily as well while throwing more effective shorter passes and controlling clock. The Bears had a few drives today. Progress was made. Could be a blip in the radar we shall see.

Although Forte's injury is impactful, Bush did play pretty well today.

time to root for the Giants.

Indeed. Root for the Giants. But the Bears need to be up 2 on the Packers, because I would be stunned if the Bears can beat them head to head.

BTW, Cutler needed that time off apparently. I thought he looked more fluid physically and had more on his throws. Not that he was floating balls before, but Jay has an extra gear that was more apparent today

hmm. She blew her nose, threw away the tissue (its right there on top in the basket under the tabletop), then wiped her hand on her thigh below the tabletop. I'm transfixed and fascinated. And stalking.

I believe that Cutler's ribs have been bothering him for several weeks. There were two drops by Davis, 3 balls that bounced off the hands of Marshall (including the INT & possible TD). I may have missed other drops that I won't count here.

He should have been at least 28/31 300 yards 2 TDs, instead of 23/31 188 yards 1 TD 1 INT

The Seattle Seahawks have built their offensive identity around big, physical cornerbacks.

It's looking like they'll have to make a playoff push without them.

Starting left cornerback Richard Sherman and starting right cornerback Brandon Browner are facing four-game suspensions for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.

Hopefully, the suspensions begin immediately & they have to miss next week's game :naaa: .

GB getting picked apart by Manning. Giants always look good late in the season.

All Chicago teams are hated for a reason.

I just don't know why.

Anyone else catch that Lance Briggs left the stadium in a walking boot? Heard that with my back turned to the tv on NBC when they were doing their post game stuff.

Me neither, Strong.

The national media hates the Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, & White Sox. The only team that they show a little love to are the Cubs.

I heard the same thing, but I heard them also say that it wasn't serious. You never know, though.

Return to Chicago Bears
