http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/br ... 2544.storyChicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher is expected to miss the next three games and possibly the rest of the regular season with a Grade 2 hamstring strain, according to two sources familiar with his injury status.
Urlacher hopes to be fully recovered for the playoffs, provided the Bears remain in good postseason standing. A return for the Dec. 30 regular-season finale against the Detroit Lions is a possibility.
The eight-time Pro Bowler strained his right hamstring on the second-to-last play of Sunday’s 23-17 overtime loss to the Seahawks. Urlacher heard a "pop" as he chased Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson near the sideline. It was a non-contact injury.
This fun year for Chicago sports fans continues.

Time to draft a replacement for Urlacher.

I thought Brian Urlacher would never show his age, if we could just find a way for the next three weeks we should be alright by the time the playoffs roll around. I hope he has a quick recovery.

The timing for this couldn't get any worse. We need him full recovered for the postseason.

He hasn't been right all season thanks to Lovie playing him in the final meaningless game of last season. I hope Urlacher doesn't attempt to get a huge contract from us next season.

Agreed and a new OLB instead of Roach
Bigger priority is draft OL and a #3 WR, hester sucks

We're set at WR. That would be a wasted draft pick considering we have Marshall, Jeffery, & Bennet locked in for the next 3 years, at least. We are also set with a young DL (except Peppers), QB, RB, & both Safety positions.
We need to look to draft OL, LB, TE (Kellen Davis is too inconsistent), & CB (Tillman is getting up there).

Wonder if that Norte dame Te would be available? He helps in passing game, running game and pass protection. 3 birds with one stone eh?

The middle 3rd is killing Urlacher. He hates it and ive never been a fan of it.
The alternative is hook zones. This is the more natural zone coverage for a Lb.
The hook zone is the zone that either outside Lb would play in the cover 2 . But for the middle Lb.
Urlacher being one of my all time fav Bears, this is a tough pill to swallow. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

It's a hamstring. He'll be alright, but not this season. This season was a wasted year for him.

yeah, I don't see Urlacher recovering well from his injury. he was obviously less athletic this season with him recovering from last season's injury. Even if he does return next year, I don't think he will even be worth re signing.

Both Brian Urlacher & Ray Lewis could be done after this season. Mind blowing.
Considering how many chances the Bears gave Mike Brown, I can see them bringing him back next season unless he retires. I would be interested in him coming back, but with a steep price reduction.
