Well, if the disappointment of Giants fans on Twitter is any indication, we signed a good one.

FANTASTIC signing. This guy is a playmaker. Whether its blocking, creating space for Marshall, or making a diving athletic catch, this guy has it. Can't wait for September.

I'll reserve my excitement until I see what they do with the OLine. He's young and has potential though.

Cliff Levingston likes him the idea of getting a competent 2 way tight end with some free agent money and look to the draft to find a stud tackle or guard or two.

Always wanted to ask you this, but why do you talk in 3rd person?

I think we'll fail at solidifying the OL as we should this Off season.

This guy will make everyone forget the horrible memories that Kellen Davis left behind.

He gets open. And catches the ball. The Bears will be tough in the red zone to cover. Im not sure how great of a blocker he is...seems like a thick receiver. But I notice him getting some props for blocking ability. I do see him fitting the new age TE mold very well.

It'll take many years to forget that.

He's a better blocker than a receiver, that should tell you something. He graded as the #3 pass blocker and #13 run blocker among TEs.
As for receiving, the talent is obvious, unfortunately the consistency isn't there which is seems to be the trend among most TEs these days. In a vacuum, I like Cook better, but Bennett is definitely a great fit for Trestman's WCO.
