I still say Cutler and the starting WR's should play the whole 1st half without Marshall. Force Cutler to look at other options.

I think they will. I thought I heard the starters are going to play at least 3 qtrs, and then sit out the last pre-season game.

Vegas odds Jay's 1st pass goes to B-Marsh? This is Jay Cutler. Think he wants to give Chicago sportswriters the finger?

2-1

(by Vegas I mean me)

Ok many of agreed we should keep the game thread open including me but does anyone else think 3 in 1 threads is too much.
I propose maybe lock this one at gametime?

Acording to a Trestmans interview i saw starters are guaranteed one half. Depending on how it goes the starters may get one series coming out of halftime to prepare for the halftime routine.

Maybe I'm a bit behind here, but is there a thread on the Bulls board or something?

Really doesn't make sense to lock the one in the Bears board to talk about the Bears on the Bulls board.

And if you think I'm going over there with this signature, you're crazy.

Oh, gotcha. Don't really see the need though.

Yes I always thought part of the point of game 3 is it's the one game you do half-time and go back and play (at least a bit).

Not a big deal but what you said makes more sense, and poorly reported locally (shocking!). :)

Don't see why it matters when we won't get past 15 pages in this thread.

Im thinking the pregame thread should be started earlier the week. To hone and separate pre game tailgate speculation discussion from game results and reaction discussion.

Its best for board members to start the threads, so feel free to start a thread after any game. I wait as long as possible to let someone else start a thread before doing it myself. The more participation we have, the better the board experience for everyone.
