From Chicagobears.com

The Bears on Sunday waived 14 players, including wide receiver Devin Aromashodu, safety Tom Zbikowski, linebacker Patrick Trahan and tight end Leonard Pope.

Also waived were running back Curtis Brinkley, defensive tackle Eric Foster, tackle A.J. Lindeman, center P.J. Lonergan, safety Derrick Martin, defensive end Kyle Moore, tight end Gabe Miller, defensive tackle Brent Russell, punter Tress Way and linebacker Lawrence Wilson.

The Bears must cut one more player by 3 p.m. Tuesday to reach the NFL's mandatory 75-man roster limit. They must then reach the 53-man limit by 5 p.m. Saturday.

I knew DA would get cut. We are stacked at reciever and I'm not even sure he played much if at all this preseason.

I'm surprised Fendi Onobun made the first cut. Has he really done anything well other than being a really good athlete? Looks like the next Kellen Davis. Those two bad dropped passes stick out in mind.

We still need to cut one more player by Tuesday. Onobum will probably still scrape by.

No surprise at who was cut, though I too am surprised that Onobun survived. I mean, I'm not sure that I can say Onobun "dropped" that ball Friday since it looked to me like he somehow managed not to get a hand on it. That was Wow bad. If I was a QB, no way I throw him the ball.
