Looking forward to watching this more than most preseason endings. Particularly want to see the battle for #3 WR and hopefully the rookies at RG & RT look good. Also hoping for solid play from backup safety and last years 3rd round pick Brandon Hardin. I'd HATE to see him cut man. Finally, because Peppers isn't playing, we should see some of Shea I hope in the 1st quarter. Wooten too?
No injuries!

Yeah Hardin needs to play well. Also this is a big game for Webb and Marques Wilson to solidify a place on the team. I feel like Wilson has too much talent to get cut anyway, but you never know. If he has a bad game.......

The battle for the backup OL spots is going to be interesting. Kromer said they're looking to carry 8? That leaves Hot Tub, Britton, Scott, Webb and E. Williams battling for three spots. Is Edwin the only one who can snap a football in a pinch? Or is the plan to slide Slauson in at Center if Garza gets dinged?

I am also very interested in seeing how the battle for the 3rd WR unfolds also. With the health and roster status issues and with E. Bennett and uncertainty of B-Marsh, I will keep a keen eye on how Marquess Wilson plays. The 3rd WR may play a pretty decent amount early in the season.
I would also hope Onobun plays well, as he has so much potential. Hopefully he can put it together. I am also looking forward to see how M. Ford plays also. This is their last opportunity to shine, so they better come ready to bring it.

Jordan Palmer looks pretty solid so far and all these receivers looks as if they could produce if given the chances weve given Bennet . I think Earl may get cut

Michael Ford as the headliner. Genius.

Is Jordan Palmer better than Luke McCown? Palmer actually looks like like an NFL quarterback.

You are absolutely correct. Palmer should supplant McClown's spot effective immediately. Palmer looks like a real number 2 QB. If Trent plays equally as well, I would lean more towards cutting McCown. I have not seen anything that makes me confident that he would come in and effectively lead the Bears. He sure didn't do the job last year.
Joe Anderson and Hurst appear to have possibly secured spots. They are are all over the place. Interesting battle with Ford and Allen.

So I haven't had a chance to watch most of the game. You guys think Webb makes the final cut?

Cut Cut Cut. Another penalty and just keeps getting beat off the edge by fast rushers.

Webb will make the squad. Who else is going to be the swing tackle? J Scott hasn't practiced since the first week of camp, and E Britton has been worse than Webb in the preseason.
