Bears restructured Peppers' contracting, saving about $2M in cap space this year. His cap hit will be approximately $18.5M and $20M the last two years of his contract.
Does this mean there are more roster tweaks to come? And what will we do with Peppers going forward?

Does this mean that we will have more cap space in general to sign someone if they get released? Or maybe this is to absorb Basses contract?

We should've had enough to absorb Bass' deal since seventh rounders pretty much make league minimum. It has to be in case someone becomes available.
