Steelers 0.... Ditka 99. DA Bearse!

Seriously though... that Steelers OL is looking terrible. Losing Pouncey was huge. On the other side of the ball, I can't help but think having a more athletic guard like Kyle Long is more of advantage against a 3-4 defense where he's less likely to have someone lined up on him and more likely to be needed to get to the second level to erase a linebacker. The only thing that worries me about this game is the level of desperation the Steelers may have. But we should win. Later in the year we play the Packers 3-4 twice. This is a good game to feel out that scheme for a new offense.

I'm nevrvous and confident at the same time.
I'll say bears win 24 to 16.

If the Bears give up 16 points to this train wreck of an offense I won't be thrilled. Obviously I'd be happy with any win, but this is a team that should be manhandled if the Bears are for real.

Um im thinking another close one. There isnt anything about the defense, besides our corners, that says we could hold any nfl team under 16 points.

Is it a fair assessment to say this is the worst defensive front 7 we have had in the Peppers era. And im not trying to knock their swagger. For the love of god i hope they win but this is a legitimate concern pertaining to winning. Im not just gonna sugar coat it cuz then we wont know what we're talking about.

Blowouts that are supposed to happen seldom do. Especially on the road. Wont be surprised at a tight game in the 4th. Playmakers win it either way.

I think its practical to believe the Steelers will be playing tough at home. Their playoffs would start early if they start 0-3. Our defense scares me the most and if compounded with the O having an offgame then i think the steelers could steal one of course thats worst case scenario.

Could anyone imagine Ben Roethlisburger breaking contain vs our non existing rush and gashing us in the pass game. At least enough so the bears have to play behind for most of the game , like every week.
I really hope that doesnt happen.

Hopefully DJ Williams and co can get the job done.

The running stopping hasn't been that bad from the bears even tho they are ranked close to the bottom half in that category. Jarvis eliss was held to 1.8 per carry and we all agree they did admirably vs Peterson in run game.
It's in the pass game where many believe the Dline has not been showing up.

That's true. My only reason is because anything can happen on a prime time game. Plus heath miller is back.

Our offense just doesnt do well when we get to far away from Forte . When we get it to Matt early and often it opens things up and good things happen. We got the lead now lets run run run and get those rookie lineup some real work

2 times in 3 games this team just flat out refuses to give the ball to Forte when he got them into position to score in the first place . Reward your running back !!!

Forte's probably winded after that run, but I still wish they gave it to him at the goaline.
