You titled the thread "Around the NFL", but started the discussion about the Bears game.

Quite perplexing.... in other news, the 49ers put the smackdown on the Rams.

What do you guys think about Freeman getting benched? I think he'd be a nice option as a backup signing. Much better player than Sánchez.

Yeah I would take a chance on him.

But I would imagine he would have a starting spot with teams like the Vikings and Jags.

Freeman isn't going to be signed as a backup at first

Lets say in terms of compensation , id say the Bears could offer a 4th rounder or lower.

I dont think anyone will trade for him to be a starter because there are several true starters coming out in this years draft. He will get cut unless someone desoerate and stupid trades for him before this years deadline.
