Chicago media just needs stuff to write about. Since Cutler isn't giving them "ammo", they need to find something new to bitch about.

Basically, he made a few veiled comments that he was unhappy with his production/contribution to the team. Chicago media blew it up into that he was making a stink about not being the featured WR. In reality, the dude has a disorder and as a result he usually is more honest in front of the media than most. Not to mention just about every coach and QB worth his salt accepts that great WRs are a special breed that require lots of attention and love.

I guess in the media defense, this is the first time in franchise history the Bears have had an elite receiver. They just don't know how elite receivers act.

Yea im like brandon and im worried about his lack of opportunities compared to last year. Its also frustrating to see when brandon finally does gets some opportunities he is dropping them.
IMO it would be better to gear the offensive coaching to improving him because he is probably the best overall player on the offense.

Last game i dont think he played poorly either but overall this season i think he has dropped as much as he did all of last year. (including preseason.) Thats not to say he has played poorly.

Marshall is an emotional guy. I know this and I've only seen him for 1 and a quarter seasons now. He wears his emotions on his sleeve and will be brutally honest to the media. That's Brandon - and I'm sure Cutler and Trestman know this - which is why they've done nothing but throw flowers at his ego.

Teams are focusing on Marshall right now. That will change as Jeffrey emerges as a legitimate threat. To me, everything is going according to plan. Establish Jeffrey, Forte, and Bennett as legit threats on offense and cause the defense to be honest and account for each guy. This will eventually open up opportunities for everyone, because you can't cover 4 guys effectively on every play, especially big guys like Marshall, Bennett, and Jeffrey.
