Trestman said Holmes will play and they want to get him some plays.

3rd down defense remains terrible

hopefully they just won't be all time terrible level this year.. and hopefully our offense will continue to carry.

sigh.. it's just preseason, but damn. I expected better.

Our ST has been consistently bad too.

So why not give it to Holmes on the returns? I know he may have lost a step, but he's still likely a pretty fast guy.

I'm honestly not sure what is worse... not being able to stop anybody or having an inept, impotent offense.

and it's a pressure situation play every time.. and the guy is a Super Bowl MVP

At least these teams are more fun to watch. I prefer this style... though it doesn't really give us a better chance to win it all.

Pass rush has been really good. 2-3 sacks easily on a less mobile quarterback.

Although to be fair there most QBs nowadays are really mobile.

Better they get these stupid penalties out of the way in the preseason than the regular season.

Coverage not so much.

Just so predictable.

You just knew they would make stops on 1st and 2nd down and give up the TD on 3rd. Even after the penalty.

Jay with the tunnel vision for alshon and Brandon . On 3rd and 6 Forte is WIDE OPEN at the marker he steps up and forces it to Brandon who had to try and make a diving extended catch to reel it in . jay is looking better but still doesn't understand how to use all his weapons .

IDK.. It is painful for me. Every time we punt or kick off and on every play our D is on the field, I feel like I'm being violated and there isn't anything I can do about it. At least when you have a D you are almost always in the game. Last season was worse than most of Lovie's teams for me to watch. Nothing worse than than watching the other team's offense just shoving it down your throat... and we do a lot of that.
