Since the season is officially over, I thought it would be a good time to start looking at rumors.

The combo of Suh and one of Houston or Orakpo would significantly improve our defense. Since Orakpo has an injury history and is actually coming off one, he'll be a lot cheaper than Houston. Houston isn't that much better than Orakpo, so assuming he stays healthy, Orakpo would be one of the biggest steal of FA.

For the love of god, please, no. He's not good. He had one decent portion of a season in 7 games with Trestman. He's not better than Cutler and the stupid debate of people who hate Cutler and fawn over McCown and ignore his entire career needs to stop. The Bears need to go out and sign an actual at least decent QB to sit behind Cutler and god forbid, if they need to play, can actually win a game and not manage it.

The Trestman offense just keeps on giving for Josh McCown. I guess Cleveland couldn't find his 2002-2012 or 2014 footage and signed him to a 3yr/15mil contract. So far, he's parlayed those starts for the Bears into about $20mil. Bears dodged that bullet, but they should take a look at Brian Hoyer or Mike Glennon. There's not much help in the FA QB pool in 2015.

Virgil Green is a free agent. I've seen a few articles saying he could follow Gase and Fox here. Would be a good under the radar pickup.

I'd rather go after tashaun gipson, although he is a RFA.

Ive wanted Rolle and Knighton since before the season ended. If we get those two plus a pass rusher that would help our defense immensely

I really have zero interest in Antrel Rolle. Keep the focus on young players in FA, not old corpses who can't run anymore

Lions got Ngata from Baltimore. Replace a stud DT with another stud DT.
Disappointed in the Bears' moves thus far. Seems like they are getting outbid on a lot of the guys they are interested in.
NOW, GRANTED, the season isn't won in March, but it would at least feel better if we were getting more of these guys we were reportedly after.
