I don't think that's very important. What does concern me a little is something that Gruden pointed out. White lined up on the right side for a strong majority of the time (above 90 percent i believe). Tavon Austin did the same thing in the same system. Although its a concern, its a very small one since White is huge and Tavon austin would be small in the NBA.

I've watched game tape on him and yes he is mostly on the right but he also lined up in the slot from the right... If that holds any value for u?

I think White will find success once he adjusts to NFL speed.

I guess the point is that routes are ran differently on different sides. Another point that gruden made about lining up on the right is that the best CB will be guarding him but since we have Alshon it doesn't really. I don't think it will be a problem long term just thought it was worth mentioning since gruden (wwho's probably the best tape analyst) Thinks it's something to be concerned with

I don't see it that way. This was a lateral move with us losing Marshall. I was hoping we could improve with the #7 pick.

But look at the cap savings you get over the next 3 years ($14-$15 million). Thats your improvement. That savings will be turned into another solid player hopefully. It would have been expensive to move up and we were short on picks with lots of holes.

That's why I tried to trade down at the FirstPick.com NFI drft game. The more picks I could get, the more holes I could fill.

For instance, one draft I did just now:

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 30 (G.B.): Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Missouri
Round 2 Pick 7: Benardrick McKinney, ILB/OLB, Mississippi State
Round 2 Pick 11 (CLE): Hroniss Grasu, C, Oregon
Round 2 Pick 13 (MINN): Jordan Phillips, DT, Oklahoma
Round 2 Pick 14 (S.F.): D.J. Humphries, OT, Florida
Round 2 Pick 24 (PITT): Denzel Perryman, ILB/OLB, Miami (Fla.)
Round 2 Pick 26 (BALT): Devin Funchess, WR/TE, Michigan
Round 2 Pick 30 (G.B.): Lorenzo Mauldin, OLB/DE, Louisville
Round 3 Pick 2 (TENN): Josh Shaw, CB/FS, Southern California
Round 3 Pick 7: Mitch Morse, OT/OG, Missouri
Round 3 Pick 12 (MINN): Cody Prewitt, FS, Ole Miss
Round 3 Pick 19 (S.D.): Tre McBride, WR, William & Mary
Round 3 Pick 27 (DAL): Anthony Chickillo, DE, Miami (Fla.)
Round 3 Pick 31 (SEA): Jay Ajayi, RB, Boise State
Round 4 Pick 7: James Sample, SS, Louisville
Round 4 Pick 20 (STL): Tony Lippett, WR/CB, Michigan State
Round 4 Pick 30 (G.B.): Justin Hardy, WR, East Carolina
Round 5 Pick 21 (CINN): Shane Carden, QB, East Carolina
Round 6 Pick 11 (N.O.): Ty Montgomery, WR/RB, Stanford
Round 6 Pick 30 (G.B.): Darren Waller, WR/TE, Georgia Tech
Round 7 Pick 1 (T.B.): Aaron Ripkowski, FB, Oklahoma
Round 7 Pick 13 (N.O.): Mario Alford, WR, West Virginia
Round 7 Pick 21 (CINN): Cameron Clear, OT/TE, Texas A&M
Round 7 Pick 30 (G.B.): Kyle Loomis, P, Portland State

All from constantly trading down in the first round... and a little more in later rounds.

To me, the seven second-round picks and six third-rounders are the real difference-makers.

That was what I got at first-pick.com.

If you'd like, I'll re-do another draft - I bet I can get at least four or five picks in the second round with a lot of trading down in the first.

IDK if this has anything to do with him being pigeon toed, but this is a nasty development:

Kevin White to undergo leg surgery, could miss season

So much for Kevin White's optimism about a return to the field.

Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace announced Saturday that White -- the seventh overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft -- has a stress fracture in his shin that will require surgery. White will begin the season on the team's PUP list and could miss his entire rookie season.

Pace said that White suffered a setback in his recovery this week, prompting the need for surgery. The team confirmed that White developed a stress fracture in his shin during OTAs. The hope was that rest and rehabilitation would solve the issue. The discomfort returned this week and coaches noticed a change in White's gait.
