This would be great but we'd have to get pretty lucky for Elliot, Hackenberg, and Coleman drop. I think the latest he Elliot drops is 8. Hackenberg might go to the Broncos depending on if lynch is there or not and the latest I see him going is to the Cowboys in the 2nd. I think Coleman goes in the 3rd

Thanks for making me feel like I need to do another one now.. Lol... Dammit I wanted to be done. But I knew I was kidding myself.

I can't see why there is so much excitement for Henry Hunter? I would take both Jerell Adams and Nick Vannett over that guy. Also 4th round is where I'd go. Third round tops if the TE pool is drying up quickly.

I don't think Smith will last til the 4th. GMs take guys in the 4th knowing they need to learn before they can contribute. GMs will take Jaylon Smith knowing he needs a year to recover and get up to full strength before he can be one of the best sideline to sideline linebackers in the NFL

I like those two also, but if we can't get them in 4 or 5 then we can wait until 6 or 7 to get Ben Braunecker or Beau Sandland. They will be solid TEs.

Ezekiel Elliot just said on the Dan Patrick show that he thinks the Bears "are in love with him".

I don't think he is falling to 11 so this is either going to be a trade up, or the Bears creating a smoke screen to have one of the defensive studs drop by having teams feel they need to move up in front of the Bears to get him.

I think our trade partner would be the Browns. If he falls past the the Browns I think he would drop to us. With that said I think he's going to the Cowboys

Ok.I'll try and make this my last mock.

RD 1: Vernon Hargreaves, CB
RD 2: Karl Joseph, S
RD 3: Carl Nassib, DE
RD 4: Nick Vigil, ILB
RD 4: Jerald Hawkins, OT
RD 5: James Cowser, OLB
RD 6: Kevin Hogan, QB
RD 6: Alex McAllister, OLB/DE
RD 7: Keith Marshall, RB

I really want Jayson Smith in the 3rd but I have serious doubts we take him. I hope we do

I've been so busy that I completely forgot that the draft is this Thursday. Really looking forward to seeing who the Bears take in the first.

I keep hearing Shaq Lawson lately.

I've read articles that said Joseph is likely going in the first, so Bears would have to trade down for him. Might not be a bad idea to do that and grab more draft picks in the 2nd and or 3rd depending on how far down we trade.

I think his size and injury keeps him out of the first.

It's hard to tell who we're going to take. Someone might drop, we might trade up or down, and there's a lot of talented players that fill our needs. I can definitely see us trading up since we've got so many picks.

My thing is if we do trade up and Elliot and an elite defensive talent is there who do we take. I've thought for a while that Eillot is the Bears favorite player but if we can choose between him or Hargreaves I'm going Hargreaves every time. It's harder to find a starting CB than RB and its a bigger need. Same goes for Bosa and Jack.

I used to think that Noah Spence would go in the later rounds because of his dismissal form Ohio St but it seems definite that he'll go in the first to rounds. He'd be a great pick up in the second and might even be the BPA in the second. Honestly, he's probably worth the the pick.

Plus he's apparently sent all 32 teams 20 drug tests since last May (which I would assume is a positive).

RD 1: Hargreaves
RD 2: Spence
RD 3: jeremy Cash

That would be perfect and probably one of the best drafts this year and that wouldn't include the rest of the picks.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/ct-ryan-pace-bears-draft-philosophies-20160427-story.html

Key things to take away"

Pace feels they have scheme flexibility in this deft because they use sub packages 60% of the time on defense. Specifically says they could take a guy who's a better 3 technique than 5 technique if he's a really good pass rusher inside.

Says he believes you have to do a good job of ranking QBs despite different flavors. Thinks they have done that correctly.

Thinks they naturally grade players of need slightly higher during the evaluation process all year, would still lean slightly to need if grades are really really close. But always go best player available in draft

Idk it's sounding like Pittsburgh and Denver are real options for Joesph in round 1.

Cash will still be on the board and I think he'll be just as good.

Return to Chicago Bears
