Man, I really wanted Hargreaves. He and Bosa are my two favorite players in this draft and we actually had the opportunity to take him.

Here's hoping he drops to the second.

I'd have traded down.

Not thrilled with this pick.

I don't have a good feeling about Floyd. Don't like this move.

After last years draft I'm gonna trust that if they traded up they really think this kid will be a player

I have a good feeling Fangio knows what he needs, and if he likes him, I will too for now. Hopefully he didn't reach for his next Aldon Smith. In general, for a long time, before Fox, the defense has needed speed and athletes. This is a good direction at least. McPhee and Floyd can do damage hopefully.

The Bears gave up No. 11 and No. 106. Steep.

Can't knock the Floyd pick. Most mocks had the Giants taking him at 10 so makes sense if the Bears wanted him to move up. I was hoping they would take Tunsil there though but I'm good with the pick.

I like the pick . I dont know about trading up but if its your guy and you feel he may go right before then do what you gotta do .

For the first time in my life the bears could have drafted my favorite player in the draft (Hargreaves). But not just my top favorite but 4 out of 5 in the draft (Hargreaves, Joseph, Apple, and Jack) 5 out of 6 if you count Smith.

So what do the Bears do? Draft the one guy that all the mocks have the Bears taking and the guy, I say to myself "we better not **** take him".

Its not that I think Floyd will be trash he's just too raw. Right now Jack is a better pass rusher. I more angry on passing on my guys than the drafting Floyd. I am optimistic though because the guy who can make someone reach their potential is Fangio.

He won't be relied on to start so he has time to develop. If he can add weight and keep his speed, he will be great. This pick also has the potential to be a Justin Gilbert type.

Sorry, i had to vent. and btw, Bosa is my other favorite.

I like the move. A bit of a project but is a beast of an athlete and plays with some fire.

I look forward to our coaching staff crafting him into a beast of a pass rusher.

Getting to the QB is always key in the NFL. This will never go old.

If he adds 20lbs and manages to keep his freakish athleticism, we'll be more than fine.

Agreed. I'm just a little hysterical because my favorite player is available and fills a need and we pass on him. There's no reason not to trust Pace to pick the right players and Fox and Fangio ability to coach him up. He'll most likely be ready once Houston is gone.

The perfect scenario is that he's ready to start day one and can move Houston to DE.

I heard that he has trouble keeping his weight up, which is why I'm concerned.

Hoping for the best though.

I doubt that'll be an issue on an NFL diet.

Pace has shown he makes smart, calculated decisions. I have zero issues with the pick.
