"The love for Malik Hooker is legit. The Ohio State safety is a top-10 player in the class. One scout this week told me Ohio State tracked his interceptions while he was a member of the scout team, and he grabbed 40 in his redshirt season."

This was in the article. That's incredible. I really hope Allen drops to us but if not then Hooker is my guy. Whether it's at 3 or after a trade down.

I'm a Titan and Bear fan. There's no way Titans are trading the #5 and #18 for #3. They need DB and WR help badly. I'd be shocked if they didn't plan on picking up both with those two picks. There is no advantage moving up for them.

Ha oh I figured... if you've ever SIM drafted on that site you know it offers you crazy trades every time you pick.

If we could get that much I'd be ok with doing this if Allen is gone at 3.

I'd have to imagine any chance of drafting Hooker at 3 has disappeared. Trading down a couple spots to take him is still an option imo

Bold prediction: Jamal Adams is a better FS than Amos

Why? The hips.

I don't think Adams plays the ball in the air very well. He can probably get more PBU, but not as many interceptions. Just a projection obviously but I think I Amos will have more picks per season because of his ball skills even though Adams is more athletic. I think you need athletic ballhawk next to either one, they don't work together IMO.

To your point, shows why HJQ is a bad fit... but I like him as a young player

After digesting it all, 8v3 come to the conclusion that Hooker, Allen, and Garrett are the special players at the top. If the Bears dont want a QB, trading back to 6 would cost you too much almost. Those 3 will be gone IMO. But in general, I like trading back as long as I am trading back for one of those 3 guys. I would be pretty upset missing out on all 3. I see Adams as a step down from Hooker.

If I had to guess, I'd say probably the abdomen area.

Chances Malik Hooker drops to the 2nd? I think it's likely. I read he's supposed to be out 4-6 months and this draft has no shortage of safety talent. Plus, Landon Collins dropped for no reason and he was the only safety worth talking about in his draft.

If he does that would be great. I'd vote to take him in the 2nd. On NFL network they said that after the senior bowl that Obi Melifonwu from UConn may have moved up into the 1st round also. Which might cause Hooker to drop.
