Bears sign Dan Skuta OLB

Skuta signed a one-year contract with the Bears on Monday.

Analysis:

Skuta inked a lucrative five-year, $20.5 million deal with the Jaguars back in 2015, but was released last month after posting just 18 tackles in 13 games last season. In joining the Bears, the 31-year-old is reunited with defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, who previously coached Skuta with the 49ers.

This is a great pick up. When SF was still good and had all those LB injuries Skuta and another guy (can't remember his named) stepped up and played outstandingly. One of them had around 100 tackles if I remember right

Nice pickup this must mean that Trevathan wont be ready for camp

Yeah it was announced he would enter the season on the PUP.

Nick Kwiatkoski Will probably be the starter. He stepped in nicely last season
