He also said the only time he felt it was too bad to play with the shoulder is when he "cleaned his system" of anti inflammatories. Its not out of the question to say Marty took a cortisone shot to play thru it as a way of saying **** you to everyone.

Im abit confused still City. Here is the chronological order based on the reports as I remember.

1) In March GB signed Bennett as a FA after passing the physical
2) 2017 Season underway, at somepoint after a few games ARod goes down and ruled out
3) Reports come out MB has some kind of shoulder injury and is held out a game or two
4) Reports come out Bennett plans to retire after this season
5) Report comes out GB waives MB for failure to disclose injury prior to signing as a FA. MB refutes saying they knew.
6) Patriots claim MB off waivers
7) MB passes physical for Patriots
8) MB comes out and says GB medical staff tried to force him to play when he wasnt medically fit
9) MB plays for Patriots the 1st game after signing gets 3 rec, looks normal

We discussed whether or not he could have taken a shot to play for GB as he may have done to play for NE. I dont see how he couldn't have played for GB seeing how he had such a quick turn around. This is why I am confused. Definitely "looks" like he manipulated his way out of Wis, but again Im not clear on whats happened here.
