Bears sign a top WR? I'm confused

Agreed. Still need to draft a WR(Im thinking around the 4th round).

By most accounts, Robinson is the best WR likely to be available in this free agency period. This is even with the fact that Robinson is recovering from ACL surgery.

Since WR is possibly the team's position of greatest need, as Bears fans, we could not have gotten off to a better start to the 2018 player acquisition period. Just wonderful.

Damn, Pace isn't messing around.

Love that Robison is still so young and has shown flashes of greatness already. I'm more than happy with this plus a rookie along with Cam & Kendal Wright as our WR core.

Yeah. We need to find depth on the front 7 desperately specifically OLB and we don't have a 2nd CB after Fuller last I checked lol.

Well yes. But the Bears must have everyone recovering from injuries at once. Watkins was the choice for me because of that, and the need for speed. But anyway, hopefully this works.

I'd prefer getting a burner in the draft. Players that are in FA are usually older (and therefore getting slower).

Burton and Shaheen are both pretty quick for their position and Shaheen has great size.

Howard
Cohen
Robinson
Meredith
Shaheen
Burton

Draft a WR and let K White try and figure out this NFL thing and we'll be good to go. Maybe even get another RB to have ample depth.

That's a very deep offense IMO.

Robinson is going to be better in this offense w Money Mitch than Alshon ever was with Cutler.

This is a beuatiful fit. Now he just has to stay healthy.

Agreed. Robinson isn't a prototypical downfield threat based on speed, but he's explosive as hell off the line of scrimmage, quick and has a big catch radius. He's an elite downfield threat at his best.

May see lots more of Cohen out of the backfield with Robinson Burton and Gabrial optimally. I can see why Howard is a weird fit.

For me, Robinson is more of a #1 WR than Watkins in that Robinson is the kind of receiver you can throw to when he may not be technically "open," but he's still better than even money to come down with the catch.
