Always good to hear from the George. The Packers had a great draft though. Probably fixed that secondary if all goes well. Picked up Equanimeous St. Brown in the 200s. Jordy is distant memory today.

Surprising that Equanimeous fell that far. I had him pegged as a 3rd rounder talent.

Definitely a big steal for the packers

Hmm. I dont suppose you have to he swapping spit with your teammates. I'm not sure its good to be thought of as the douchbag either.

Its an inside joke between the team. Howard and Cohen were making the same "Father-son" jokes to each other.

Long story short....You called it. Telvin is the same player We need a defensive line like the Jags for Roquan to be free enough to do his thing. We can't use him at middle LB. Does anyone know if Pace brought anyone on to support building toward this?

Um yeah so theres a hold out situation on our hands.
This guy can be the next bears hof LBer.
Hopefully the situation doesnt become too toxic.

Maybe its a prelude to a tank season?

I thought Pace punted on last season. He had higher draft position. Pace should be on the clock now. This is year 5.

The two sides appear to be at a stalemate. From what I understand, Smith wants a somewhat groundbreaking clause in his contract. IMO, the Bears should let him hold out as long as he cares to. If Smith holds out long enough to lose game checks, I'll be very surprised, but if that's what he wants, let 'em. This is a power play by the agent and if they want to cost their client real money, you can color me surprised.

Hate to say it but Oren Burks (GB packers) looks like the better decision. 1)Doesn't need so much around him to be successful. 2)Was able to be had with lower draft position and 3) is in camp learning the schemes with hid teammates

Glad Smith is in and the timing of the settlement is about as expected. Smith will have just enough time to be ready to start the regular season opener and the holdout didn't cost Smith any real money.
