Actually, it wasn't either of those guys. I found the article.

Ray and Barrett were the guys mentioned. I guess both are decent prospects, but neither really fit in their new 4-3 scheme.

I feel like a trade is unlikely unless we can send a conditional 6th or 7th round pick

Maybe Kevin White and a 6th, or something along those lines.

Well well well. Broncos declined to pick up Shane Ray's 5th year option. Proof he is on the market.

Bears declined to pick up White's $13.8m 5th year option. Thank god. Ryan Pace walking away from hia first draft pick.

He's not necessarily walking away. He declined Fuller's. He's just not being dumb.

CB - B.Breeland
OLB - J.Hankins
OT - W.Beaty
OLB - L.Houston

All should be fairly cheap

White for Ray base deal sounds good. White will have to show he's healthy and productive 1st.

Let's not forget Shane Ray wasn't all that productive even before they switched defenses

Why? We have two excellent starters. Is he a monster on special teams?

He is better and can play both SS and FS.

I think there is a good chance the Bears pickup someone the Broncos cut. We did it after we practiced with the Patriots. Obviously our target would be OLB. They have a few intriguing young guys. RAY would be the obvious target.
