That's going to happen a LOT over the next few years. Miller is a stud.

Saying the defense is the best is overstating quite abit. The jags and rams are way better.

This team could be really really good if Mitch can figure it out.

He needs work on his mechanics and hopefully Nagy is someone that help fix it. His athleticism is a obvious plus.

Top 5 defense for sure. Maybe 3rd best, but they aren't the best.

Also, you saw the difference with how much better the defense is with Quan in there over Nick Kwiatkowski

Mitch isnt an instinctual pocket QB. It'll take more exposure to improve, but its not his strong suit.

Mitch is thinking more than playing.

Im waiting for the day he is just playing and the system slows fown for him.

The game in general may need to slow down for him.

His mechanical issues could come from the fact that he rushes too much. That first interception he didn't step into his throw and the pass was short because of it.

IMO all attributed to Mitch rushing because he doesnt know exactly what to do and he doesnt have a feel for where everyone is just yet.

Next week should be pure dominance over Arizona. Let's see these guys stack some wins.

It’s hard to win games in the NFL so it’s a good win. Defense looks special.

Offense and particularly Trubisky...a work in progress. I get the feeling that Nagy is running some conservative stuff off creative sets early in the season to set up big plays later. Nagy and Helfrich have some mad scientist in them.

Hang on...this is gonna be an E-Ticket ride.

Definitely a work in progress. Depends on how long it will take for Mitch to get comfortable under center and operating from the pocket and the amount of time it takes for the coaching staff to break him out of those bad habits he picked up. When he is running the scripted plays he his totally engaged and in sync. Once they stop running those plays he becomes skittish.

Theres a lot of positives to take from this game. Trubisky at times looks out of his league.
The narrative from the ‘experts’ is that trubisky now is just a mobile qb and gamer, not to rely on his accuracy but there was a point mitch was a pure qb prospect. He looks like a faster rex grossman even though i said jay cutler in the bulls forum.

Theres a feeling i have that mitchs scattered play was a reason nagy held him out of preseason. Possibly a factor in irchestrating the Mack Trade.

Now that the bears have an identity, the bears have less reliance on mitch to sustain future success. Hopefully things slow down for mitch, because if it doesnt the Bears should just move on, and cant be handcuffed by his price tag

Our D will get better as Mack gets his wind and the system down, Floyd heals up, and Roquan gets comfortable. Our D will win us games and keep us in every game this season.

Money Mitch is going to take a while. I'm looking for a jump after the bye week. Nagy needs to run Howard more and then move Mitch around with bootlegs etc. I'd also like to see something thrown down the field. Please. Stretch the field with White or Gabriel. Burton needs more touches too... he should be featured not just a check down. I like the way Gabriel was used and Robinson too.

If this happens should Pace be fired then since he gave up the picks to trade up?
