Finally got to watch all of Trubisky's passes and runs.

Yes the Bucs defense is awful and they didn't get any pressure on Mitch, and left WR wide open, but still it was good to see him be more accurate on plays where he's overthrown guys before. He made some special passes as well on a few occasions. Agreed that it was a great game plan by Nagy as well.

Only "criticism" I have is on his running plays, he needs to slide. Really lucky he didn't get popped hard on one or 2 of them.

All in all, this is the type of game where you can breath a sigh of relief that he at least showed he's capable of doing special things that other franchise QBs show during early part of their careers. Hopefully he can build off of this and also show it during games when there is more pressure.

Just saw the news and was coming go make the comment. Sucks because he's a good dude and a good special teams guy.

I think Money Mitch will only get better. If Nagy can keep getting guys open for him and the O Line can give him just a little time... He will put up points.

Nagy said they aired it out in practice last week and that got everyone really loose. He said it carries over.

Interesting note: Howard was on the field for 4 of Mitch's 6 TD throws even though Cohen played the majority of meaningful RB snaps

Cohen reminds of a darren sproles archetype. He is a guy you can feature in an offense without being the number 1 back. A really nice weapon imo.

My biggest takeaway from the game is that i feel Trubisky is allergic to the empty backfield set.
As a bears quarterback, its practically no mans land so i wouldnt blame him to have a deer in the headlights demeanor.

Maybe Hicks told the official he pushed the wrong person so he didn't get suspended :D

Stats so far in this season:

"The Bears have allowed a 77.8 passer rating and 7.3 yards per attempt with Mack on the field and a 142.6 passer rating with 9.3 yards per attempt while Mack was on the bench."

"The highest official passer rating that a quarterback can achieve is 158.3"

Try to imagine where we would be without this guys?

Its just weird to see someone who looks so similar. My friends name was Paul, and his passing was all his own undoing. His dad was a doctor, and passed way when he was young man, After he completed high school he inherited a large amount of cash at a very young age, and was immediately able to buy his own home.

After high schools he never had to apply himself to be successful and got involved in things and people he shouldn't have. Great guy, and very bright, but lack of parental supervision, and early financial success was his down fall. He died of a self inflicted drug overdose in his late 20's.

The last time I saw him was at a unrelated friends bachelor party at a strip club. He was sitting at a table all by himself and I walked up to him and we remembered old times. It was apparent to me he was not the same guy anymore even though we enjoyed each others company.

Before his passing I heard many stories from mutual friends about all the trouble he managed to get himself in. The end result was sort of expected.
