Week 10: PG Bears v Lions

Post#1 » by transplant » Fri Nov 9, 2018 9:44 pm

Time to kick off the training wheels boys and girls. **** gets real starting now.

Bears are 6 1/2 to 7 point favorites. Been a long time since we've seen this against a division opponent. I'm not a gambler so I don't much care about the spread, but the Bears stay relevant if they win or are confirmed as pretenders if they lose.

It's only Friday afternoon, but I'm already nervous. Go Bears!

Looks like the team is healthy. Nichols is questionable with a knee and Sims is out with a concussion, but everyone else is in. Apparently Shaheen practiced, but he's not on the injury report. I'm not sure if that means he's playing or he's still on IR.

I think Bears go 2-1 in the next 3 games with Thanksgiving being a close loss simply because it will be the last game of a rough 11 days.

I think Mack, Howard, and Mitch are going to have big games. I think this will be our breakout game that shows everyone we are legit contenders.

If Mack is fully healthy I think we are a top 4 team in the league.

Hope Shaheen plays and gives us another dimension.

Beating a bad Lions team won't do that. Next week against the Vikings during prime time is the game where this team can prove if they are contenders or not.

Yeah, but they either sweep the Lions this year for the first time in like forever, or they stay out of the playoffs.

Great teams win these types of games convincingly, the Bears have three (maybe four if you count the Seahawks game) convincing wins already this year.

This team has another gear. The offense played at a really high level in the Tampa game and the defense has been the best in the NFL thus far with some dominant games thrown in there. Just need to consistently hit at that level going down the stretch here.

Good on Nagy for resting A-Rob and Mack and still getting wins.

By rule Shaheen can't play today being that he was just designated to return. 1st game of eligibility is the vikings

Knowing this ahead of time Nagy should stagger PT and get the deep bench guys in. Look for meaning full opportunities to sub these guys in.

Pace can't pick a kicker to save his life. Or Tabor needs to be canned.

Mitch is playing at such a high level right now. Kudos to Nagy for developing this kid.

This next decade is going to be fun.

Special teams gave up 15 pts. And cost Bears 2 games so far. Tabor has to go
