What do we do with Cody Parkey for the playoffs?

This is for keeps now. He has botched too many chipshots this year for my liking. The problem is you cannot scheme around him like you can for Mitch on certain plays. Either he connects or not. What would you do?

You gotta keep the faith in him. He's really only been terrible in that Lions game, every other game he's been ok to good.

I do like the aggressiveness that Nagy has shown though but when it comes down to it, he's on the roster and you can't avoid using him.

This off-season they need to bring back Robbie. Kickers can play deep into their 40s and Robbie is getting better with age.

If he starts out blowing chippies go for the 2 pts more often and lean toward going for it when you can. Can't eliminate him completely b/c that in itself lets the defense kno what you are going to do.

At this point there is no better option available. Your strategy can't change. The last thing we need is killing whatever confidence he has left.

If Nagy would have gone for the first down on 4th and 1 when in FG range, now he might go for it on 4th and 2. Depending on how the games play out, it might make a big difference of none at all.

Its too late to do anything about Parkey this season. So you say nice things, but you go for 2 on TDs if he misses early.

We hope and pray the game doesn't come down to him.

We saw yesterday just how much a game can change when you don't have a FG kicker that can be relied on (Well, Seattle didn't have one really at all for the 2nd half of the game and it cost them... changed the way they played everything).

Parkey is just shaky at best. He's missed PAT's and FG's at a bit of an alarming rate. He's not the Seahawks punter dropkicking FG's and kick offs, but he's not exactly Matt Prater or prime Robbie Gould, either.

Parkey is the Bears post season offense. I think we shpuld kick field goals on 1st down past the 30 yard line before Mitch gets a chance to throw a pick

Cut his ass. Take the cap hit. Sign a kicker who wont cost us the game.

So i guess Parkey's kick was tippes at the line. Difficult to blame the kicker for a miss if its tipped.
