pg: Bears Chargers

Post#1 » by transplant » Sun Oct 27, 2019 8:54 pm

I know that everyone wants to blame everyone, but to me this was Bears-Eagles redux. The Bears season ended last season when a NFL field goal kicker missed a kick that NFL field goal kickers are expected to make 90% of the time. Today, the Bears season effectively ended when a NFL field goal kicker missed a kick that a NFL field goal kickers are expected to make 90% of the time.

Yeah, it shouldn't have been this close, but it was what it was. Make the kick and we all go away happy.

I'm so pissed off I can't see straight. Jeez!

Who kneels with that much time left & at that distance? Real head scratcher to me.

Did Matt Nagy never hear of play-action passes?

It's Marc Trestman all over again.

The thing is... the Bears had a good thing going on the run.

What they need is to use Sowell as a fullback/lead blocker for Montgomery and others.

Playoff are out of the question, but the Bears can get a decent season out of this. Tanking will only give the Raiders another good pick. We need to make that one go as far back into the first as possible.

Nagy lost confidence in Mitchell. He also needs TEs for his offense. Burton playin hurt, shaheen sucs. Mitch isnt the guy

Justice happened after that fluke broncos win. Still all trust Nagy and team.

Now just win last divisional games and other home games. Thats it. 10-6 (5-1).

Bears brass told Mitch if he keeps making mistakes he will lose starting job and they they expect to see improvement. Its good to see they feel the same as most of us do about Mitch instead of trying to salvage their pick. He has had long enough to get used to game speed and learn defenses. If he can't do that by now he isnt a starter in this league
