On the defensive side;

I wonder who they hire as a defensive coordinator because with the Pace Nagy uncertainty after next season, how do they hire someone for more than one season. If Nagy and Pace get fired what new coach is going to want to come in and have his defensive coordinator already there, new coach new GM are going to want their own guy and nobody is going to want to sign on if it might only be one year and the Bears don't want to sign someone for 3 years and then pay him to leave.

With the likely return of Eddie Goldman and the solid play of Nichols and Jenkins, could the Bears return to a 4-3 defense? I'm sure Mack and Smith could play outside in a 4-3, Trevathon at MLB. Robert Quinn sure didn't deliver for the money he got Edwards, Hicks and Urban could play the DE spots
