Disagree, there is like 35-40 picks before we pick again, he could easily go in the 4th round.

We could have picked a DT or something better.

Wow, so the Bears did pick Garret Wolfe. Wolfe is a great talent, but I don't see it translating into the NFL. But whatever, I'm glad the Bears got him because I loved watching him play at NIU.

I watched some of his highlighs, he's mugsy bogues in football pads. Talk about an ultimate change of pace back. I can see a lot of 3rd and long screen plays run for him. Guys so small he could probably be an interesting short yard option as well, getting lost behind all those big guys up front. I just think the Bears should have taken Bush or Pittman instead. What happens if Benson gets hurt? Who's going to spell relief for Peterson?

Yeah but we took Wolfe, filled a need with a talented player, and now we can use our other picks to fill other positions.

But we could have gotten Wolfe later and gotten those picks with more talented players earlier.

wtf at Garret Wolfe o_o

wtf at Greg Olsen too.

Suprisingly enough, the Suntimes got a lot of the picks right, like Antony Gonzalez/Greg Olsen.

I really would of liked Dwayne Jarret..but I trust JA.

not a B+, maybe a B- or C+. I like the Olsen pick but I'm not so sure about the DE we got when there was all this hype are Quincy Black, who was still available. We needed a RB and at first I loved that the Bears got Wolfe but I think we got him a bit too high. I'm not sure who Okwa is because I've been hearing that he is an undersized athlete, which could be good or bad (not sure if he is the guy to replace Briggs or not). I love the SD trade because I think we robbed them especially since we didn't have much going at that pick. Overall a decent draft day. Who knows, maybe there's we've found a Briggs/Vasher/Anderson in here somewhere.

No, we couldn't have, thats the point, you can't just say we could have gotten a guy later because some Joe Schmo nobody rated him a 5th round pick or something.

Wolfe is talented. He led the NCAA in rushing last year.

Not happy with the draft after Olsen. We basically trade the the rights to Jarrett. Get an undersized DE in a crap conference instead. Draft a midget return man when we could've had a top 5 running back in the draft in Michael Bush. And then, we draft another undersized LB. Yikes! Hope JA proves me wrong.

Michael Bush would have been an absurd pick for many reasons and calling Bazuin an undersized DE from a crap conference is just choosing to be a dunce.

B+ for day one. It is fun to see one team a season just completely screw themselves over. Miami was this season. I hope I never see the day when the Bears become that team.

Browns had a great day 1, Pats as well

I have to give us a B+ for getting more picks. We basically ripped off the Chargers and we have Greg Olsen who will be a big difference and give Rex another option. I like Wolfe as well and could be a good running back.

The more I look at Quincy Black's profile on NFL.com, the more I want to cry.

OLB, Brian Urlacher style? That screams Lance Brigg's replacement.

His NFL.com profile makes me not mind that we didn't get him. He seems like a defensive back more than a linebacker.

"Negatives: Has to get more active in run support (tends to shy away from inside contact, making him a better secondary fit than one who can play inside the box at the next level)"

"but he doesn't show the strength to shed blocks at that position (linebacker) and seems to be better suited playing on the move or in the secondary, where his marginal skills against the run won't be exposed."

I really wanted Quincy Black & Lorenzo Booker.(better version of Thomas Jones. Awesome blocker and receiver out of the backfield) I'm not a big fan of the Garrett Wolfe pick. We already have a great return game so he won't help there and he does not really offset Benson's weaknesses.(blocking and pass catching)

I can count the number of times that someone came from the same school and/or was called "The Next (INSERT HOFer here)" and then actually lived up to expectations on one hand. Let's not get overly upset. The reason his stock is so 'high' is because of the Urlacher comparisons - but there is only one Urlacher.

He may end up becoming the 'Next Michael Jordan' Vince Carter, or the 'Next Michael Jordan' Harold Miner. ;)
