Well he was just cut by the Panthers. I think he would make a nice addition to this team, gives us another playmaker.
Would we be interested in him?

Maybe he was cut because of his remarks about "New QB This" "New QB That" at the draft when he was on ESPN.

I haven't been to the Packer board but I bet they have the same thread going.

That is kinda rough considering he was talking to their one draft pick WR about how he'd be working with him and all that.....guess not...
If he wants to come to the Bears, I wouldn't mind.

Yeah I was thinking last night that maybe they would drop Johnson since they got Jarrett.

haha, we can be the team that takes all the WRs that Carolina thinks are old and don't want anymore.

He wouldn't really fit with us unless Moose goes down with an injury. We need Berrian's speed to stretch the field on one side, while Moose > Keyshawn as a possession receiver at this point in their careers.
At that point, Bradley > Johnson in the slot during 3 WR sets. Cliff Levingston wouldn't eb surprised to see the Packers or Vikings pick him up though.

It would make sense for him to come here, since he was looking for a team that will compete for the superbowl. But it doesn't make sense for the Bears to sign him. He will whine if he doesn't get a lot of touches, and will probably give Grossman a hard time. And the last thing Grossman needs is another confidence shaker
