green bay board is amazing

a team going nowhere, no offense. That finished out of the playoffs with what seems to be a poor draft, aging franchise QB, and no major free agent signings, and yet............

over 2000 posts compared to our 800. We went to the superbowl, and dominated most teams. Coming from a HUGE fan base in chicago compared to freakin green bay.

Amazing. At least with the nba, the raptors have like all of canada to take over realgm. How do the packers have so many realgm fans?

I don't know. But once Bulls season is over more people will come here.

Yeah but we will have 3 extra games than them this year so that may be an extra 500 posts.

You have to remember, that with a larger fan base in Chicago and a more popularized media network, there are many more different chat boards available for the Bears. Packer fans have been waiting for a board like this to come along for the Packers. There is nothing wrong with it, just a reason for it happening.

The waiting list for Packer season tickets is amazing. Some will be on that list for over 30 years until they get one season of season tickets. Their fan base is amazing but do they have the wins to back it up?

I think its just that the bulls are doing great and people like to spend time talking about could be greatness then a loss all if those are the two options

The Packers have the same size of fanbase as the Bears do, trust me, I know this. Milwaukee is a Packers city first, then Brewers, then Bucks. Packer threads on the Bucks board spanned 100 pages. Trust me, the Packers aren't some rinky-dink franchise, and even during Brewers and Bucks seasons, the Packers get priority

I put my son on the list when he was born in 1995. He was 35,000 something. The first few years he moved up less than 10 spots a year. Then they had the Lambeau renovation which added seats and they charged a one time seat license which caused some people to give up some season tickets. He jumped up to the 14,000's. But the past 3 years he's been back to moving up about 10 spots a year. The current waiting list is over 40,000.

My dad was put on there in 1994 I think, was somewhere in the 6000s. Renovations came and now he has tickets

There are more people, a lot more, in the greater Chicagoland area than there are in the entire state of Wisconsin. The Packers have a loyal following but there fan base is not as big as the Bears.

I guess Bears fans don't know about this place yet but soon we will grow like the Bulls board has.

True, but the Packer fan base covers the entire country. States/cities that don't have teams have a lot of Packer fans. My company has events in Green Bay every home game weekend and it's amazing how many people fly in from around the country just to see a game at Lambeau. Obviously Bears fans hate the Packers but you have to admit it's a unique thing to have an NFL team in such a small city, something that will never been seen again, in any major sport.

so, did you like the packers picks?

My initial reaction is no. But I said the same thing last year (except for the Hawk pick) and several of them turned out pretty well. There are surprises in every draft, good and bad, so we'll see in a year or two.

I loved when ESPN showed Green Bay right after the pick and everyone was flippin' mad.
