In tonights game Braun has 3 homeruns 4 RBI's in 4 innings. Sounds up 8-0 on the Zephyrs.

Only 1 error so far this year. In this game. Not so much a horrible defender as a horrible thrower. We should put Hardy at third and Braun at SS since he played that before with success.

No.... he's a mediocre defender. He just can't throw to first.

Sorry but if you still do not understand...Hardy is an ELITE SS with the glove and will be awefully good with the bat as well.

The Brewers have two weapons to call up after awhile and they won't have to trade for them.

I'm old enough to have been around for all these ugly years of Brewers baseball after 1982.A huge part of those struggles were yearly crappy starting pitching rotations. Now we have so much depth in the rotation that Gallardo has no reason to be rushed and Villenuava can come out of the pen.

In years past Rafael Roque was our opening day starter, this year we have no real hole in the rotation,we have a top 3 prospect starter in AAA,and depth to handle an injury. What a pleasure not have to think we'll need a minor miracle to win certain games because a pure scrub will be on the mound.

Braun is the REAL DEAL!! I think that he is going to be an allstar within 2 years after he turns pro. Even tho his defense isn't that good, i think that he more than makes up for it with his offense. The best idea right now, is to either use Counsell and Braun as a Platoon at 3rd, then trade Graffinino, or trade Mench and platoon Braun and Jenkins in Left. Either way, we have to get his bat in the lineup.

His defense can improve. It's not a sure thing but his defensive certainly can't be written off yet.

Doubt it. I'm expecting a Weeks like callup in June. Send Gwynn back to Nashville, Braun to Milwaukee and Counsell and Graffanino to the bench.

Ew, no. Braun will be pretty much a pinch-hitter when he comes up this season, while getting some playing time at third here and there.

They are not going to waste MLB service days on Braun to be a pinch hitter. That makes no sense. He needs to play every day. If he's called up he will play not sit.

Why does that make any sense? Yeah lets keep him on the bench most of time. Way to help the future there.

And with the way Graffy is playing defense we might as well call him up now and at least get a good hitter at 3rd base.
