amazing, but the "cheap franchise" briggs goes on about has all but 2 draft picks signed already. I expect the other 2 to follow before july 1st.

We always seem to sign the more important rookies last and I don't blame them.

you usually sign the late picks first, and whatever you have left in your rookie pool, that's what the top guy gets. Kind of leaves them less options for demanding stupid contracts with the rookie pool and all.

We are in luck, a lot of times the first 2-3 picks sign early, as do the last 2-6 picks. It's the middle of the order that waits forever so the pick in front of them can set the table.

Payne a probowler? Wasn't that the safety we took, late, where we are deep with brown, AA, manning, harris already?
