Barry Sanders was a midget. If Garret Wolfe can be a quarter of the midget Barry Sanders was, then I like our midget.

Honestly, Wolfe seems like the perfect ying-yang to Cedric Benson.

TJ and Benson were too alike.

2 goofya$$ RBs, exactly what we need. I can see Ced getting along with this guy and they would be great compliments to each other. People think Thomas Jones was a speedy RB when in reality he was more of a power back. Ced IMO was actually faster.

TJ had a power body but ran like a scat back. It led to lots of dancing and getting tackled in the open field one-on-one. Needless to say, Cliff Levingston has never been a TJ fan so long as he was here though he is a good back.

Benson was drafted to carry the load in this offense which likes to run primarily between or just off the tackles, hence the reason he's a better fit. He's a quick footed, decisive one-cut back who gains that extra 1 or 2 yards after contact more often than not.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Benson will do now that he's the #1 guy. I was a big TJ fan so I'm hoping that Benson can at least duplicate what TJ has given us over the last couple of years.

I like Wolfe as a change of pace back for Benson but what about Adrian Peterson?

peterson is one of our best special team players

garett wolfe is a special player

I hear the little guy can really catch, great 3rd and long back. And benson has looked REALLY fast in the training camp videos.

Peterson will be the starter after Benson gets injured in like the third game.

That's exactly why I wanted us to hang onto TJ. Until Benson proved that he could get through a season uninjured, TJ should have kept his job.
