Where do you think bears will rank on offense at years end?

I'm looking at this offense - and barring injury of course, I think (on paper) its the most attack oriented and balanced offense I've seen (Bears fan since 1976). I doubt benson sees 8 men in the box at all (I mean ever) this year. Even if Rex went down, teams will still have to respect the deep ball.
So, I think the Bears running attack will be dominant with Benson over 1200 yards and Wolfe being a great change of pace guy. The passing game will give DBs around the league nightmares. The tight ends will help keep the linebackers honest.
I say bears Offense moves into the top 7 (overall yards gained not just points scored) this season.

10th in yards.
Keep in mind:
- Our defense is designed to get turnovers
- Hester is the best return man in football.
Those two elements figure to give us a lot of short fields compared to other teams. We simply won't be in position to pick as many yards as a lot of other teams.

I originally thought 10th, but you will see when it comes to the Bears I drink serious kool-aid.
But you are right about the yardage limits we can get. But I like your "10th" prediction.

We'll be higher in the points scored rankings and better in turnovers; both of which are much more important than total yardage.

I think we can be as high as 8th in points scored

well, points scored we are in luck as our defense forces turnovers and we get easier scores. So 10th in yards, 6th in points.

We were 2nd in points last year. Interesting how everyone thinks we will get worse.

OK Tyler, I agree. We can't get worse.
2nd in points, 7th or 8th in total yards.
If we are in the top 10 for fewest turnovers you can build the cabinet for the new Super Bowl trophy.

I personally look at point differential. Last year we outscored our oppenents by 172 points. 427 vs 255.
This year we get better on both ends and I think we will be over 200 point differential. But the schedule is tougher this year than last year. So It wont be that much bigger of a difference
My prediction 435 vs 225

Yards gained?
Last year we were 15th. I say we'd be up to 12th-10th.
Its all about Grossman, though. He can make us a top 7 offense in the league.

I don't know if we'll start out the year blowing out teams 26-0, 34-7, 40-7, 37-6, 41-10, etc.
Our point differential will be smaller, but we'll be better.

I am excited about Greg Olsen and Devin Hester joining our offense.
Remember that game in October or November against the 49ers when we got off to that huge start? I think it was like 24-0 after 1 quarter.

If our offense is ranked anywhere near the top 10, we should easily win the Superbowl.

Forgot about that.
Nonetheless, our schedule is a big tougher this year. Cliff Levingston will reserve himself to saying 10 or higher in yards, and top 5 in points scored.

Consistency is more important, with Grossman at the helm.
If we just get a slightly better version of Grossman last year we could rank top 10, but thats not really what we want, is it? We want a consistent Grossman.
